It has been an enduring period since the school of Fashion Design and Technology at London college of Fashion and popular Sony Ericsson started their collaboration. This long relationship has its purpose based on investigating the link between technology and fashion students. So where does the prestigious tennis icon come in to the deal? Maria Sharapova, the tennis and fashion- motivated star does not only get her celebrity status for these two rather is an ambassador for one of the leading global brand, Ericssson Recently, Sharapova exhibited in the window of design store, liberty some winning students’ designs among those involved through Sony Ericsson and London college of Fashion collaboration. The eighty students from countries across the globe and from the school’s third and fourth year groups were chosen via this alliance to compete for a chance for their designs to be exhibited. Sharapova together with the Sony Ericsson design team briefed the students while she personally sent an inspiring message to support them and to facilitate their upcoming ideas and designs. Maria was also among the other panel of judges who carried out the process of selecting the wining design that was chosen from a pick out of twenty-five entries.
